Southside was created by Simo, a surfer and surf coach with one belief: your first surf experience should make you want to surf again.
We share meals, surf together, laugh together and explore Morocco together. A sunset on the rooftop, cheering for someone’s first wave: these are the little things that become your favourite memories.
First wave or bigger waves, every package is built around more time in the water, better conditions and real progress you can feel.
We’re not a place where surfing is one activity on a long list. We are a real surf camp, built around the ocean, the waves and your progression.
Every evening we check the tide, swell, wind and wave direction for the next day. Then we decide. If it’s best early, we go early. If it’s better later, we wait.
Our coaches are in the water with you, helping, correcting and encouraging. You learn to read the ocean, find your balance and stand up safely, one wave at a time.
In the morning, conditions are often cleaner, the wind lighter and the beaches quieter. There’s something special about paddling out early and seeing an almost empty ocean in front of you.
We film your sessions, then review your technique together. You see exactly what to fix, track your progress and paddle out the next day with more confidence.
